About MeganMegan Lloyd Joiner is a senior CBCT instructor with The Emory University Center for Contempletive Science and Compassion Based Ethics. She is also a board-certified chaplain and an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister.
Having completed a Compassion-Centered Spiritual Health Chaplaincy Fellowship at Emory University (Winship Cancer Center), Megan became certified through Emory as a Compassion-Centered Spiritual Health Clinician in 2021 and a CBCT instructor in 2022. Expanding her work from oncology and pediatric healthcare chaplaincy into education, Megan served as the Chaplain and Chair of Religious Studies at Woodward Academy in Atlanta, GA from 2022-2025. She is available to offer CBCT courses in educational, healthcare, congregational, and business settings through Compassion U and in-person. Megan lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her family. |
